This band is such a fun listen everytime. The singing always feels intentionally half a note off and the intramental can range from country to rock or both at the same time. One of the songs i’m featuring is Bobcaygeon. This could have been the song of the week because of how much I love it. Hearing this for the first time is what got me to explore their music a little more. It does the same thing all of their songs do for me; towing the line between absurd and emotional. They have a way of singing lyrics that can feel a little like nonsense at times but still flashes you with the feeling they want you to feel. Talented and raw band. De Ja with a View - Evening Elephants

Evening Elephants are one of those bands I try to listen to every now and then. I dont love every single song they make, but every time I go back to them I find a song I love, like this one.

Been listening to these guys on and off for awhile now. I have always been a huge fan of surf rock and ska, but these fools do it better. They have the quintessential sound and vibe for this type of music. More of the same excellence on this album as they always have except for State of Hawii. I havent heard anything like this from them but it was a gem to find. Makes me want to read on a far away island and relax. Such an excellent song.
