I found this band while working in Alaska (shoutout Marie) and they are a little bit bigger than most bands I cover on this page, with almost 2 million monthly listeners. I decided I still wanted to include them because I havent heard of them and I cant be the only one. They have such a unique sound that feels entirely their own. They seem to jam early 2000s alternative vocals and with a bit of 80s synth wave and it just sounds so good. Check out Red Eyes, Pain, and Thinking of a Place. Uneasy - Metronomy and Spill Tab

One of the grooviest songs I have heard this year. This one is most likely going to be a long timer on the playlists. It reminds me of Still Woozy if he leaned a little bit more house.

More of what made Royel Otis explode onto the scene in this album. They have been growing and growing and there is no surprise why. They sound like pop to me but of course the alt rock roots are audible in every song. This album doesnt break any new ground for them honestly but they really seem to have stepped into their sound. There isnt a single song on this album I would consider a miss. Check it out
